Complaints and Warranty
How to report product defects, delivery damage, warranty issues, non-conforming goods, service problems, and legal complaints.
Last updated: 7 August 2026
1. How to submit a complaint
Email contact@nodetlab.com. Include your name, company if applicable, email address, order or invoice reference, product name, serial number if available, delivery address, description of the issue, photos where helpful, and the outcome you request.
For technical issues, include operating system, CANary software version, wiring or setup description, relevant logs, screenshots, and steps to reproduce the problem if available.
2. What happens after submission
NodetLab will review the complaint and may ask for additional information, troubleshooting, photos, logs, remote diagnostics, inspection, return shipment, or confirmation of delivery damage.
Possible outcomes may include repair, replacement, missing-part shipment, troubleshooting support, refund, price reduction, rejection with reasons, or another solution required by applicable law or agreed commercial terms.
3. Consumer rights
If you buy as a consumer, mandatory consumer rights for non-conforming goods or services apply and are not limited by this page. Depending on the situation and applicable law, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or withdrawal from the contract.
Consumers may also have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts as explained in the Refund Policy.
4. Business customers
If you buy for a company, institution, or professional activity, warranty, service, acceptance, return, and complaint handling may be set by the written offer, invoice terms, purchase order, statement of work, or separate agreement.
Unless mandatory law or a written agreement says otherwise, NodetLab is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect wiring, unsupported use, unauthorised modifications, unsafe test setups, misuse, normal wear, third-party systems, or use outside documented limits.
5. Delivery damage
If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, take photos of the packaging and product, keep the packaging, and contact NodetLab as soon as possible. Where practical, also report the damage to the carrier according to the carrier procedure.
6. Return instructions
Do not send products back before receiving return instructions unless mandatory law gives you the right to do so. Return instructions may include address, RMA or reference number, packaging guidance, data removal, accessories to include, and shipping method.
Before sending a device or storage medium, remove confidential data, scripts, logs, databases, credentials, or project files unless NodetLab specifically asks for them to diagnose the issue.
7. Complaint response time
NodetLab will respond without undue delay. Some cases require inspection, third-party delivery information, testing, or additional technical evidence before a final decision can be made.
